SEAWATER TREATMENT

Reverse Osmosis Process

By applying pressure to a solution with a high salt concentration, the solvent with Reverse Osmosis passes from a membrane to a the dissolved substance remains on one side and the solvent on the other side. This process is called as reverse osmosis. In practice, this appears to be the pressing of water molecules through a semipermeable membrane. As a result, water is divided into two branches; consumer product water (purified water), and dewatered / filtered brine. Membrane separation. The degree is extremely high because the impurities larger than the membrane pore size cannot penetrate. Membrane; microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria, radionuclides (radioactive nuclei), as well as organic substances.

Aqua-Life Solutions

Aqua-Life Ltd. is a new manufacturer of the concept of sea water treatment systems: not only pumps, but also unique salt water treatment plants in the world. There are no pipelines in our seawater treatment plants. Instead, channels are arranged in the blocks which serve as support and main structural elements. In addition, this blocks have a modular design and can be connected to each other in order to build  seawater treatment plants of any capacity. Recently, Aqua-Life Ltd has presented two models of the APPR axial-submersible pump series with a capacity of 3 and 25 m3 / h.

The HP pump is made from Duplex (double layer) and Super Duplex steel

All sliding surfaces are covered with carbon reinforced PEEK polymer. The axial-piston HP pump which we have developed differs from all existing developments. Innovative feature: pumping seawater into a rotor cavity with piston and moving bushings driven by high pressure concentration. Therefore, we reach the same capacity as ERI and Danfoss. Our HP pump is single-unit and does not have a booster pump.

APPR43 and APPR400 axial-piston pumps with integrated energy recovery unit. The salt water treatment module is a compact seawater treatment system embedded in a single-unit hydraulic machine. Several modules are connected vertically to establish a seawater treatment plant. The modules are placed on the base block into which seawater is fed and into which the brine and filtered (purified) water is discharged. For example, the marking of Model DB8SW030, the 8 ”membrane desalination system produces filtered water up to 30 m3 / day.
